Handyman Service Estimate Printable

A handyman estimate should turn a mixed list of small repairs into a scope the customer can actually compare and approve. This sheet separates repair tasks, access constraints, customer supplied parts, labor, business-supplied materials, and optional work. Recording each task independently reduces confusion when one item is approved, another is postponed, and a third requires inspection before a firm amount can be offered.

Break the visit into repair tasks

List each room, fixture, surface, assembly, or repair separately. Record existing condition, dimensions when useful, access constraints, preparation, cleanup, and whether hidden conditions could change the scope.

Distinguish labor and parts

Show labor, call-out charge, business materials, customer supplied parts, disposal, and optional alternatives on separate lines. State whether supplied parts have been inspected or remain the customer’s selection.

Control revisions

Enter expiration date, subtotal, tax, total, exclusions, and approval. If opening a wall or disassembling an item reveals different work, stop and document a revised task before continuing.

How to use this printable

  1. Inspect and number every requested repair task.
  2. Record condition, access, parts, labor, and exclusions.
  3. Price approved and optional work separately.
  4. Keep the accepted estimate with the later work order.

Printing notes

  • Print on US Letter paper at 100% or Actual size so table rows and signature lines keep their intended spacing.
  • Use one copy for each customer, appointment, job, reporting period, or approval cycle instead of overwriting an earlier record.
  • Write in dark ink and scan the completed sheet if the business keeps a digital archive.
